I just wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to the Truly Nolen employee who stopped and helped me change my flat tire on the freeway this morning. It is one of those rare glimpses into the integrity of a company that is truly visible when its employees go above and beyond their duties. For my morning commute today on I-10 in El Paso, Tx, I was inconvenienced by a shredded tire. I am fairly capable at changing a tire myself, but the task did not seem at all appealing given the rush of traffic whizzing past my car on the side of the road. I was unnerved by the experience, not as proficient in changing a tire as my father would like for me to be, and very much out of my element. It was a great relief when from the other side of the freeway a giant yellow mouse pulled up. My hero stepped over the fence separating the lanes and asked if I needed any assistance. He immediately got to work and changed my tire much faster than I could have managed on my own. He turned my already horrendous commute into a mild inconvenience, graciously accepted my gratitude, and waited for me to merge into traffic before he continued on his way. I am truly indebted to the kindness of this employee and I would like to praise Truly Nolen for knowing and recognizing this genuineness of character. I did not get his name, but I have a suspicion that had it been any Truly Nolen employee I would still be writing this thank you correspondence. Thank you once again to my hero and to the entire Truly Nolen family.
