TAMPA BAY, Fla. (April 5, 2010) — Truly Nolen Pest Control, one of the largest family-owned pest control companies in the United States, will take care of flies and other insects at Tropicana Field in 2010 while the Tampa Bay Rays handle fly balls and wooden bats.
The partnership includes season-long pest control at Tropicana Field, signage on the concourse level and restrooms, print advertising in the Rays gameday program, and social media mentions via Truly Nolen’s social networks.
“As we’re getting involved with more teams each season, the Rays were a natural fit for us for many reasons,” said Michelle Senner, Director of Marketing and Advertising for Truly Nolen. "First and foremost, Truly himself resides in Naples so the Rays are his hometown team. Second, we've been providing service in the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years and are committed to being the best and doing the best, just like the Rays."
Senner said their commitment to the Rays also includes a season-long outfield wall banner at Port Charlotte Stone Crabs home games and a first-half sponsorship of RaysRev.com, one of the most popular Tampa Bay Rays fan blogs.
“We wish the Rays nothing but the best in 2010 and are excited to be a proud partner of the team,” said Senner. “With our technicians working hard in-stadium, we believe there will not be a repeat of the Joba Chamberlain incident in Cleveland during the playoffs a few years ago.”,
Senner is hoping to bring the Truly Nolen mouse limo to the stadium prior to one home game this year for children and parents to explore.
