He has nearly 20 years experience in the pest control
industry and has been with Truly Nolen of America,
Inc. since 1992.
Murray, known nationwide as “Barry the Bug Guy” for
his informative and entertaining presentations, has
been featured hundreds of times on television, print
and radio in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada,

talk about bugs, he shows what they can do. He’s
been swarmed and stung by killer bees and has even
cooked and eaten insects.
Murray has received recognition within the pest control
industry. In 2000, he was named spokesman for the Florida
Professional Applicators Alliance, a group representing
4,000 companies in Florida’s $1.25 billion-a-year
pest management industry. Murray is a member of the National
Pest Control Association, Florida Pest Control Association,
and the Florida Certified Pest Control Operators Association.
He is also the author of “Will Global Warming
Bury us in Pests?” which was published
in the May 1999 issue of Pest Control, the industry’s
largest magazine.
